100% lambswool beanie.
These beanies are knitted by me on my vintage knitting machine. The Geelong lambswool is considered to be one of the highest quality wools in the world and is extremely soft and not itchy! The hats are knitted in English rib which gives them a unique look and also allows for varying head sizes. They are designed to look like the Adult Fisherman beanie but are not fully fashioned at the crown.
Billy wears the Kids size beanie. Her head circumference is 50cm
Hat measurements for the Kids size: Circumference 48cm, Length 26.5cm
Hat measurements for the Toddle size: Circumference 46 cm, Length 23cm
Most Billynou garments are made to order. This is important to our ethos as it helps to eliminate waste and unnecessary products being made. Bearing this in mind please allow 2/3weeks for your garment to be processed. This is an estimate and in reality we endeavour to achieve a much faster production time. This excludes garments that have been naturally dyed or made with vintage fabric, they are only listed when available.
All garments should be washed with care. Ideally on a low temperature with an eco detergent (PH neutral for naturally dyed products). This is not just to keep your garment in good condition for longer but to be kinder to the environment too.
Woolen garments should either be dry cleaned or hand washed gently and dried flat.
PLEASE EXPECT SLIGHT VARIATIONS IN TEXTURES, STITCHING, COLOURS ETC AS ALL GARMENTS ARE HAND MADE AND HAND DYED, OFTEN USING VINTAGE FABRIC.
