THIS DRESS IS A ONE OFF AND MADE BY ME, FROM THE MOST GORGEOUS MEDIUM WIGHT VINTAGE FRENCH LINEN, SOURCED BY ME, HERE IN FRANCE. THIS LINEN IS VERY HIGH QUALITY, IT FEELS LIGHT TO WEAR WITH A LOVELY DRAPE TO THE FABRIC. A VERY VERSATILE GARMENT THAT CAN BE WORN THROUGH ALL SEASONS WITH A LITTLE MORE OR LESS LAYERING.

THIS DRESS BEEN NATURALLY DYED USING ICE WHICH CREATES THESE BEAUTIFUL UNPREDICTABLE PATTERNS ON THE FABRIC. THE COLOURS COME FORM MADDER, COCHINEAL AND WELD.

THIS PARTICULAR DRESS IS VERY OVERSIZED AND WILL FIT ANYONE FROM A MEDIUM TO TRIPLE XL DEPENDING ON HOW MUCH YOU ROOM YOU LIKE TO HAVE AND YOUR STYLE.

A note on natural dyes: Natural dyes are often described as “living colour”. They have a charm and personality very unlike chemical dyes with the much higher energetic vibration of LIFE. This does mean that some colours may vary or fade over time. It is important to treat these pieces with love and care, keeping them out of Sunlight when not wearing them and washing them gently with cool water and PH neutral soaps.

Please also note that I use vintage fabric, not only for it’s beautiful qualities but also because it already exists, avoiding making new material. This does mean that even though the utmost care is taken when choosing the fabric there may occasionally be minimal signs of age.

Most Billynou garments are made to order. This is important to our ethos as it helps to eliminate waste and unnecessary products being made. Bearing this in mind please allow 2/3weeks for your garment to be processed. This is an estimate and in reality we endeavour to achieve a much faster production time. This excludes naturally dyed garments and garments made with vintage fabric, they are only listed when available.
