THESE HATS ARE NATURALLY DYED USING ICE WHICH CREATES THESE BEAUTIFUL UNPREDICTABLE PATTERNS ON THE FABRIC. THE COLOURS COME FORM MADDER, COCHINEAL AND WELD. Each hat is absolutely unique.

These beanies are knitted by me on my vintage knitting machine. The Geelong lambswool is considered to be one of the highest quality wools in the world and is extremely soft and not itchy! The hats are fully fashioned to ensure a close fit to the head and are knitted in English rib giving them a unique look and which also allows for varying head sizes.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: HAND WASH GENTLY WITH COOL WATER AND PH NEUTRAL DETERGENT. DRY FLAT.

A note on natural dyes: Natural dyes are often described as “living colour”. They have a charm and personality very unlike chemical dyes with the much higher energetic vibration of LIFE. This does mean that some colours may vary or fade over time. It is important to treat these heirloom pieces with love and care, keeping them out of Sunlight when not wearing them and washing them gently with cool water and PH neutral soaps.
